Steering Committee

Guidance for the BCHC initiative is provided by a 15 member Steering Committee, seven whom represent provincial organizations and eight representing communities across the province - several of which are locally elected officials. The Steering Committee provides overall governance for the work of BCHC to fullfill on its strategic focus and direction. As a member of the Steering Committee, the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) also plays a stewardship role by housing central office staff and providing financial and human resources management through UBCM’s existing systems.
