As part of our national healthy communities initiaitve, in partnership with Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick healthy communities networks, we will be distributing an online survey to our members and those communities we have worked with to learn more about HC initiatives across the nation. Food for Thought: Cooking up Cultural Harmony We have launched our new website as part of the Welcoming and Inclusive Communities Food for Thought initiative in Abbotsford. With 21 communitiy partners we have created a dynamic food focused resource. Check it out here New! BCHC is working in partnership with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. on Welcoming and Inclusive Communities: Tri-Cities: Art Door initiaitive. This project is an asset mapping initiative focused on identifying key initiatives in the Arts and Culture industry for Immigrant and Newcomer Youth, identifying barriers for youth to access these opportunities and creating key entry points and next steps for businesses, communities and youth to collaborate and build on capacities together.
